My Story — The Birth of Hope Ministry
I am Evangelist Maryam, and the journey of Hope Ministry Pakistan began with a simple prayer and a broken heart.
Growing up in a poor Christian family, I understood what it meant to live without security, education, or opportunity. As a young girl, I often wondered why some children suffered so much—and why no one stood for them. Over time, God turned my pain into purpose.
When Childhood Becomes a Burden
In many areas of Pakistan, Christian families live in deep poverty.
Their income is so low that children are forced to work instead of going to school.
Girls Without Safety
Young girls become domestic workers and silently endure:
Fear and mistreatment
Long hours
Shouting and abuse
Loss of education and innocence
Their dreams are taken before they ever begin.
Boys Without a Future
Young boys work in:
Workshops
Factories
Mechanical shops
Their small bodies carry heavy loads, and their future disappears into labor.
No child should have to choose survival over childhood.
A Calling to Make a Difference
One day, God placed a question in my heart:
“If you see their suffering, why not become the answer?”
With faith and courage, Hope Ministry was born.
